Life Quote -"Well today was a complete waste of chalk!"

Sports History

I was born and raised in Colorado, and began my sports career tumbling in my mothers belly. I began competitive gymnastics in Level 3, and have been addicted ever since. I have been extremely competitive at all levels, including qualifying as a team member of the Colorado All Star Team for the Level 5 Judges Cup in Montgomery, Alabama where we finished as team champions. In 2018, I placed 1st in Level 9 Regionals which qualified me for Level 9 Western Championships. I was the 2019 Level 10 Colorado State Junior B All Around Champion as well as the 2019 Bars, Beam and Vault Junior State Champion, and a 2019 JO Nationals Qualifier. I have expanded my gymnastics career to spend time and mentor athletes in High School, and have accomplished becoming the State Champion on Vault, Beam, and Uneven Bars. I began diving to further my sports resume and absolutely fell in love with it. When I'm not at the gym or the pool, you can find me training for Track and Field with my friends.

Just For The Fun Of It

When I'm not excelling in school, training at the gym or hanging out with my friends and family, you can find me enjoying life at Water World, volunteering in the local community, surfing, diving, running track, wake-boarding or tubing behind a powerboat on a lake in Colorado or Wyoming. I love traveling with my entire family, and in fact we recently went on a family trip to Mexico, Jamaica and Grand Cayman. I was the youngest family member of 14 that went, and the oldest was my great grandmother at 100!!! Most of all, I truly enjoy being a big sister at my gym, mentoring and being the best role model I can be for the younger gymnasts, and to share my love for the sport for current and future athletes. I also expanded my athletic asperations and joined the 1M Diving team, and the Track and Field Team running mid distance sprints.

School Is Important, But Sports Is Importanter

Just kidding of course with the title. My first love is any type of sports, however my family takes precedence over everything. No matter where I go in the world, I can always count on my family being right there with me, sharing the ups and downs. Not only am I excelling at gymnastics, diving and track,  my academic career has placed me near the top of my class. I am currently an active member in the National Junior Honor Society, and am striving to become an active member of the National Honor Society in High School. I am currently enrolled and studying in the S.O.A.R. pre-collegiate program (Students of Academic Rigor) at Horizon High School and currently striving to achieve and maintain a 4.0 GPA.

Volunteering in the Community

First Unified Club

What is First Unified Club? First Unified Club is an exciting program which combines students with and without intellectual disabilities to develop meaningful relationships, help  spread acceptance and ensure everyone feels included and welcome in  their school. We all come together for sports, games, community service, school events, and most of all, to have fun! I am an active mentor in this program for my Sophomore year and plan to continue in my Junior and Senior years as well.

Xcel Energy Volunteering

Out of the many volunteering opportunities I participate in, one of my favorites is the Xcel Energy "Annual Day of Service", which brings together employees,  family members, friends, customers, and community members to volunteer on a wide range of  projects, and making a difference across many communities. What started eight years ago as a way to honor the anniversary of  September 11, 2001 continues to grow due to the continuous support  of employees and customers. In 2018, Xcel Energy welcomed 3,750 volunteers and  together we tackled 77 projects across Colorado.

Max Fund Animal Adoption Center

I currently assist with healthy and special need animals to get them ready to become an adoptable animal into a loving home. By volunteering, I am expected to be self-motivating, self-starting,  self-driven, and make every attempt to help out when  possible.  I am expected to be committed to the mission of taking in  sick/injured animals, making them better and adopting them to loving  homes within the organizations adoption guidelines.
